Getting a Perfect Finish

  • Silk PLA: The single biggest upgrade for jewelry trays. The semi-gloss finish looks like a hand-glazed ceramic. No post-processing needed - Silk PLA is the recommendation for gift-quality pieces.
  • Interior surfaces: Enable ironing on interior floors. Settings: 15% flow, 30mm/s, zig-zag pattern. Eliminates all surface texture that could snag delicate chains.
  • Layer height: 0.12mm on the main body. 0.2mm is acceptable on the underside. The difference in top-surface quality between 0.12 and 0.2 on Silk PLA is dramatic.
  • Supports: Every tray in this collection is designed to be support-free. If your slicer adds them automatically, check the support angle threshold - 45° is the correct setting.
